Holiday blog post

Christmas is like a family reunion to me, and we talk about good events throughout the year. It is also about Jesus’s birth on Christmas night. I love meeting my younger cousins and talk to my uncles. My mom and aunts cook or bring food for the family while my dad entertains everybody with some story or jokes. My older cousins talk with the adults, the younger play toys or games with my little brother, and cousins around my age play games and tell stories or joke around.

Ode to Breakfast

Ode breakfast

When I wake up, you lure me from my sleep.

There you are waiting for me.

Hot, sweet, and healthy.

The smell of you excites me for my day,

You ham, bacon, and eggs taste like heaven.

The sweet and hot sip from you wake me up.

Without you, I would die from hunger and be upset.

You fill me up and start my day with a smile.

Memoir

I see myself jumping out of the bus with my mom.

“We are going to the bank and then visit my friend,” my mom said.

On our way to the bank, we heard a car crash nearby. We heard people screaming angrily and saw the car back rear and other car front rear crashed. My mom told me when I grow up I should never drink and drive.
